Originally from a small town on the coast of North Carolina, but I’ve been in Saint Augustine Florida since the year 2000.

Hobbies: Surfing, camping, fiddling around on various instruments.

Guilty pleasures: Sci-fi films, vampire/zombie movies, collecting old lenses and instruments that I have no idea how to play.

During college, I studied Fine Arts at Flagler. After acquiring hand-me-down Pentax film cameras from my mom and grandfather, traditional dark room photography felt like magic. Watching a blank piece of paper shift from nothing to fully processed black and white images in a matter of minutes was incredible (and incredibly time consuming). After graduating and starting work in photography around 2007, I’ve been in pursuit of creating an ever more interesting image, and seeing where a camera can get me in the world. Since then, I’ve worked documenting weddings, musicians, fashion shows, and outdoor camping/lifestyle styled shoots. Photography was and is exciting, but after realizing how much more I enjoy making short films, I’ve shifted attention and goals to make work even more enjoyable. “If you’re doing what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life”… something to that affect. Creating stories, sharing them, and hearing an actual reaction - is a feeling unlike anything else.
